Frequent Questions

When can I buy tickets?

Sales to the general public will be available starting April 9, 2024. Renewals and Insights members will be receiving earlier access.  Browse the ticket page for a preview of ticket options.

Can I print my tickets at home?

Yes, you may, or if you prefer, you can download them to your smartphone.

What if my tickets are lost or stolen?

To resend your confirmation email (which contains your tickets), please click here to make the request. Just be sure to use the same email address that you used while registering for the event!

Do kids get in free?

Kids 12 and Under receive FREE GENERAL ADMISSION when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

Do you offer refunds?

We have a NO REFUND policy, if you would like to protect your order; please purchase Ticket Insurance from FanShield at check-out when purchasing your tickets from EventSprout.

Will there be a Will Call/Box Office at the event?

You have the ability to electronically distribute tickets to others, but there is a Will Call/ Box Office at the main entrance which is open with limited staffing, therefore advance purchases are highly recommended.

Directions / Location

The Reno Air Show will be held at the Reno Stead Airport, 4895 Texas Ave., Reno, NV 89506.

Event Days / Hours

Friday: Gates open at 4 PM with the Twilight/Night Show starting approximately 6 PM-8 PM
(Note: U.S. Navy Blue Angels are not scheduled to perform during Friday’s show)

Saturday – Sunday:
Gates open at 9 am and close at 6 pm
Show starts at 10 am and ends at approximately 4 pm

RV Parking

(Tue Oct 1st-Mon Oct 7th)

Dry camping available with Sani-hut and Water service, for a charge; early arrival and late departure by a few days is acceptable.

WEST LOT– available for purchase through the RARA office on March 11, 2024.  For returning RV guests, last year’s space(s) are on hold until April 1st, 2024, those on a waitlist are next in line, then the remaining spaces will be on a first come first served basis.

Discounts

Military discount code must be entered when purchasing a ticket. You can also get access to early tickets and promotional prices by signing up for Air Show Insights.

Prohibited Items

Animals, unless a service animal, Umbrellas, More than 1 bottle of water, Food, Electric bicycles, one-wheels, ETC. are not allowed, only electric scooters for handicap use are permitted, Chairs are prohibited in the pit area

Smoke / Weather

We have no control over wildfire or weather, nor can we foresee if either will ground a performance. We will monitor and adjust based on current conditions during the event.

Volunteering

If you are interested in volunteering at the show, please contact volunteers@airrace.org. Some form of compensation may be offered to non-profit groups who donate their employees’ time.

What to Wear

The weather can vary from very low temperatures in the morning to high temperatures in the afternoon, with potential precipitation and wind in the afternoon. We recommend that you wearlayers, a hat, and sunscreen, and drink lots of water!
